5.0 out of 5 stars. Best Altra I've UsedReviewed by Doug from Oklahoma on Saturday, August 19, 2023I've owned nearly a dozen models of Altras and the Provision 6 is my favorite. The heel area is very comfortable and fits more snugly than most Altra models so I don't feel like my foot is slipping when cornering (e.g., Ultra Ones). They have good support and cushion w/o feeling too soft or as clunky as the Ultra Duos. The sole is very grippy yet is wearing much better than any Altra I've owned. The toe box may be slightly narrower than some Altras but still wider than most running shoes. The downside is that the "sand" color is really light pink/peach. I'm not a fan of the color but I just use them for running so ordered two more pairs at this price to have when my first ones wear out. (I weigh 175 and am more of a jogger than a runner now so not breaking any speed records in these.)
