So I would say these are here in outlet sales because they are almost impossible to get on. If I was looking at these in person at a store there's no way I would have bought them. I looked around the house and finally found a shoe horn which allowed me to get them on with a bit of effort. Note, which I didn't, in the photos that there's stretch elastic on only one side of the 'tongue' (inside foot side) which is likely part of the cause of this issue. Don't know if or how much this issue with change over time with usage. "...slip-on-and-go ..." would be more accurately written: "... struggle-on then go ...". Once on these shoes are comfortable in fit and walking. Note also that they are a bit 'blocky" looking; looking at the photos, that high sole from the instep back to the heel is +/- half-an-inch higher than you might expect.

About ECCO

There’s a reason why ECCO shoes have a longstanding reputation for impeccable craftsmanship. Founded by Karl Toosbuy in 1963, ECCO began with just 16 employees in an old factory building in Denmark. From day one, Karl’s mission was to create the most comfortable shoes possible without cutting corners or compromising on the details. Thanks to years of hard work and always putting customers first, the fledgling company grew. Today, Karl’s legacy still remains at the heart of every pair of ECCO shoes. Whether you choose a sleek pair of ECCO sandals or a sporty pair of ECCO golf shoes, you'll see why this brand continually strives to deliver unmatched quality, incredible comfort and modern style, all at a sensible price point.
