5.0 out of 5 stars. Pretty nice BMX bike for the moneyReviewed by Ralis the Chalice (no Malice) from The People's Republic of Jim Pillen on Wednesday, December 25, 2024My 7 year old has outgrown his 16" Trek Precaliber. He is ready for a 24" bike however, he feels uncomfortable with such a size jump. I found this GT BMX bike on Sierra for the same price as a cheapo Walmart bike and decided to take a chance. The bike was easy to assemble and my son loves it. I'm looking forward to riding with him this spring on his new bike. Thanks Sierra!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Bike, but…Reviewed by Saeid from Texas on Wednesday, December 18, 2024This is an excellent mountain bike and the price is fair. The only issue: the specs list this as having Shimano shifters, which it doesn’t have, it’s equipped with microShift. MicroShift is okay, but doesn’t seem to holdup over time as well as Shimano. When you factor in the additional cost to purchase Shimano, the price is about the same as you can find elsewhere, but it still is a great beginner mountain bike. Would have giving it 5 stars if it had the Shimano as listed. If you’re looking for something that is fairly easy to assemble and tune. This is for you. You will have to align the brakes, and tune the derailer assembly, align the forks and handlebars and air up the tires. The most difficult part is tuning the derailer, but, you can easily achieve this with a few YouTube video tutorials. Be safe!
