I got a size 12 for my wife who is a size 8/10 since I know wetsuits are typically a size small and it was still way too small for her. We thought it was more of a kids size 12 but it does say women's. She is 155lbs 5'9 and C cups and I had to help peel it off her since she could hardly breathe. I would probably get her a size 16 if it was available but keep in mind to probably get 2-3 sizes up. I guess it is possible it is a one off but more likely poor quality control on sizing.

But they’re a pain to wash because I have to spend a ton of time unraveling the elastic waist band after washing so they’re comfortable again. Elastic could use so,e extra reinforcement to keep it in place.
