    The bottle is fine. Like any other stainless steel vacuum bottle.

    But I don't understand why some manufacturers will make a bottle of similar size to a Nalgene and not make it compatible with Nalgene lids. There are many after-market options for Nalgene lids - humangear capCap being my favorite. Without this compatibility, you are stuck with the lid it came with.

    And if you break or lose the lid, you now have a useless stainless steel vacuum bottle to add to the landfill.

    I filled mine 1/2 full of ice and refrigerated water and after 5 hours all ice is gone and water is cool at best
