UncomfortableReviewed by Old guy from Colorado on Thursday, November 2, 2023I am nearly 70 years old, and these are by far the most uncomfortable pair of winter boots that I've ever owned. They are difficult to pull on as they are too tight along the top with no zipper or laces to loosen, extremely heavy, and the only positive is that the rubber construction keeps out any moisture. Fortunately my dog found the boots to his liking and chewed one up, so i didn't have any remorse in throwing out the boots after one wearing. A waste of money.

Not composite as stated in description, but they are ok if you don't need the safety toe. I am keeping them, because they will work around the yard and I can't pay shipping to return someone else's mistake. This is my only problem with Sierra Trading; it's as if you're buying factory seconds, so you should expect second hand service and return fees for their mistake. I have purchased too many great items at such low prices over the years, but twice in three orders is enough for me to just shop elsewhere.

Redwings are by far my favorite boots. I saw these posted last week and purchased a pair. I was about to get a pair of filson boots for $400 but hen I saw these on Sierra. They arrived today. Five stars! These are so nice. They look like they are the boots they sell at the redwing stores for $250 plus. Super nice leather and stitching. Plus steel toes! I can’t believe they are only $80. Super comfortable. Only time will tell if they last but so far I’m very happy with this purchase. Plus redwing I think owns Irish setter. These boots are a deal!
