4.0 out of 5 stars. neither fish nor fowl, but I like them

So, I'm not sure what the intended use of these "trail sandals" would be. As you can see, they are close to flat on the bottom, not the kind of grip you would need on any kind of loose terrain. However, they do excel in wet grass! That means they're great for walking dogs in areas where the grass is damp in the morning, which is exactly how I have been using them.
They do favor narrow feet. I don't have a problem getting them on, but I could imagine that being an issue for someone with a wider foot. I get a nice secure fit with my regular shoe size.
They look like they will last for many years. They are really built. My wife thinks they're odd-looking, but whatever.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars. Very hard to get on the foot

The shoe body seems to be quite large enough for my foot to fit, but the opening of the shoe is too small to squeeze my foot through. I typically wear a 9.5 and ordered a 10 hoping to wear this with a neoprene sock but I was scared of ripping these just trying to get them on a bare foot.

Liked the look and the style but they are impossible to get on your feet. Very poor design, which is surprising from Keen.

About Keen

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.
