4.0 out of 5 stars. PleasedReviewed by campah from Maine on Sunday, August 13, 2023Used this mattress during an 8 day canoe trip in northern Maine. Here's the details: don't use more than 10-12 deep breaths to inflate as that will make the mattress far to stiff to be comfortable. I'm 5'9" 165# and a side sleeper. At 10 breaths, I had plenty of support and softness under me to sleep well. I didn't find the design to be especially efficient in keeping me in the middle of the mattress as is stated in the description but I do feel it helped. Letting some air out may have side in that. The biggest downside is its slickness. The material certainly seems tough but everything slides on it! I put an old pillow case over it and that fabric helper keep me in place; of course that added a little to weight but on a canoe it wasn't a problem. It also seems too narrow even at 23" (I would have thought it's 21" but I didn't actually measure it) still given it's extremely light weight. small packing size and apparent durability. The 4 star is for is slickness, otherwise it's a definite 5 star bargin.
