Neither my wife or I really wore a bike helmet. My wife has an old helmet that she virtually never wears. She will talk about she has a helmet but i dont but she will only wear her helmet once or twice a year and even complain about how helmets are unnecessary. She will often ask why i dont own a helmet and then remind me she has a helmet. After a particularly fast ride this summer I decided it was time for a helmet. I found the lazer in gray and bought it. Last week as we were headed out i put it on. My wife was surprised to see me helmet up but naturally she wore and complained about hers. On our next ride about Halfway through she asked …no begged to try my helmet . Once she got it on she refused to return it and kept repeating how nice it was.

These are the worst cycling shoes I’ve ever owned-and that’s a lot. Basically worthless tightening strap, even if your just indoor cycling.

Before our son was born i never wore a helmet and my husband wore one most of the time. I really did not think they were necessary or cool.After our son chuckie was born and he was old enough i started taking him out in the trailer. Of course chuckie had a helmet although I continued to wear my ball cap. During a well visit the pediatrician asked if our son wore a helmet and i said “ohhh yes” and then he asked if mom wore a helmet and i was speechless. He had a helmet that was damaged but had saved a life he showed me. I left embarrassed and confused. I told my husband and he asked if i was going to start wearing a helmet. So I started shopping and found the lazer strada in red and bought a medium. I am very happy with the fit and how light it was. I thought i would quit wearing it after a few trips but i have worn it happily on every ride. I have even recommended the helmet to several friends.
