Closeout. Inspired by Merrell's hiking boots from 1985, Merrell's Ontario mid hiking boots are great for long days on your feet. They feature a waterproof full-grain leather upper, and a Vibram® MegaGrip outsole with 3mm lugs for steady traction.

I went to pick them up and decided to open the box and try them on in the parking lot before I went home (1 hour drive). The box was labeled size 7.5 and the paperwork in the box with the boots and the email regarding my order that was sent to me, clearly stated I ordered a size 8. I also checked the inside of the boot and the size again was 7.5. I thought maybe they ran big, so I tried them on and, no, they did not fit. I have 3 pairs of Merrell shoes and have always worn a size 8. I returned them immediately without reordering. I would have loved to have them but was leary about ordering again.

I am on my feet, doing a physical labor job for 8+ hours and my feet HURT. They are broken in now and my feet hurt all day, nearly every day. The quality of the boots themselves is great…waterproof, nice look, two pairs of laces. But they just are not comfortable.
