1.0 out of 5 stars. zero starsReviewed by Georg from Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, January 14, 2023Total waste of money... I used it only as a step counter. stopped working after two months... absolutely zero assistance from manufacturer - no company contact methods of any kind, manual is less helpful than Ikea assembly instructions

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not bad so far!!!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Luv2Run from Northeast USA on Thursday, January 2, 2020I purchased this to replace a Garmin GPS watch that I always had problems with (i.e., it didn't always acquire GPS signal or took forever to do so). I got a get price on the Soleus and so far it has been exactly what I needed....tracking the pace, distance and time of my runs. I must admit it was a little tricky figuring out exactly how to get it to work properly - since the instructions weren't the best - but I think I have it pretty much down now. BTW - there's a instructional video on the website that helps.
It acquires the GPS signal pretty fast and the battery is incredible, especially when not in GPS mode. Hint: make sure you turn off GPS (by holding "mode" button) after runs or the battery drains rather quickly.
So - overall - pretty happy with watch, especially at this price (I only paid a little over $30 while on clearance). Don't think you could come close to another watch with this level off functionally at anywhere near that price. -
1.0 out of 5 stars. Unbelievably Bad WatchVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Wednesday, January 1, 2020This is the worst watch in the world. I am gentle on equipment and reasonably intelligent, yet the wristband on the watch broke THE FIRST TIME I USED IT. The buckle tore right through the plastic. The user interface is inscrutable...I'm not sure if it was designed that way, or it just happened by accident. Finding the functions on the watch is impossible - like playing whack-a-mole. Push a button, something gets displayed; push the same button or another one, and something you didn't even want comes up on the display. I did try to read the manual, but it seems to have been printed for a Barbie rather than a human being. And the manual actually is as confusing as the watch is. I finally managed to start the heart rate monitor (why I bought this watch), and it worked sort of...if you remained perfectly still and the wrist band was in a certain position. But on a run? Forget it. The heart rate monitor would quit working for minutes at a time, or worse, report some number that was just impossible. I did finally get the stop watch going, but trying to turn it off at the end of a run - sorry! Not that button - try another one! As far as I can tell, the watch is still stop-watching away and will be until the battery dies. What a pile of junk. I cannot fathom how this watch ever got released to production, or how Soleus is still in business.
