Average Rating:
4.3 out of 5 stars.
Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Sweats inside, pole straps glued onReviewed by ButtercupAT from Missouri USA on Saturday, March 7, 2026I've camped in summer, fall and late winter- about 10 nights so far. I haven't had heavy rain but is waterproof in medium rain. Any kind of humidity gathers inside and rolls down the sides of the tent- even with the front flap open all night. Inside pole has velcro straps that are glued on and the top middle one started coming unglued after 10 uses. I used silicon seam grip to glue it back in place and reinforced the other 4.

3.0 out of 5 stars. not waterproofReviewed by Cindy from Oregon on Tuesday, February 24, 2026These comfortable pants just don't hold up under a few minutes of rain. I am disappointed in this product; I had hoped for more water resistance.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not worth the price.Reviewed by Maui from IA on Monday, December 18, 2023$80 plus tax is kinda expensive when your ski coat doesn't do its purpose. I used it today and the cold get to my nerve going to my bones. OMG! I just walked going to work today and I was running to be in the the office caused it is freaking cold. Now, I need to look for a different ski coat.
