3.0 out of 5 stars. Felt a little bit narrow, but looked wide on the footReviewed by Wisconsin from Wisconsin on Friday, January 24, 2025I was looking for a women's waterproof sneaker or low profile hiking shoe, to wear around town and also when traveling. I bought three pairs, this Timberland Lincoln Peak Low Hiking Shoes - Waterproof (For Women), the Asolo Made in Europe Shiver GV Gore-Tex® Hiking Shoes - Waterproof (For Women), and the Asolo Made in Europe Pipe GV Gore-Tex® Hiking Shoes - Waterproof, Leather (For Women).
I wear a 7.5 M for street shoe (pumps, etc) and an 8 M for boots and sports shoes (to accommodate a thicker sock). I bought this in an 8 M. The Timberland Lincoln Peak Low Hiking Shoe felt a bit stiff, a bit narrower than a Medium width, yet the appearance of the shoe looked wider than both of the Asolo's. I was hoping that this Timberland would work for me, because my heart was set on a waterproof sneaker look.
From what I can tell, there is nothing wrong with the Timberland Lincoln Peak itself; it's just that for me, the fit did not work well. The Asolo GV Goretex (red and grey) is what provided me the best fit and that's the pair I kept.
