5.0 out of 5 stars. Jist a great helmetReviewed by Sarah cicone from Iowa on Sunday, June 18, 2023My husband and I are casual weekend bikers on the bike paths. While we both had helmets as children since adulthood we have not seen a need for helmets. Last summer the hubs started do a few off road trails at the local park (not mountain biking by any stretch). Although his trails were very easy he decided to get s helmet “just in case”. After some looking he ended up with the Troy Lee A1 mountain size m/l in blue. The price was great. He loves how it adjusts and how firmly it stays put how light and well vented it is. He wears it ofter and even sometimes when we ride together.he has offered to let me wear it many times and I always decline.. Recently some friends, a few of which wear helmets, wanted me to ride into the city with them. as i was pulling my bike out i saw the new helmet hanging there. Since they are the adventureous type I decided it would not hurt to have the helmet (and if it was uncomfortable i could leave it clipped to my bag) As i put it on i was amazed and shocked at how light it felt. The straps were easy to adjust. At no point during our outing did i even consider it a burden or want to remove it. Honestly i am thinking about buying one for myself now.
