This is the best price on a truly critter proof cannister.Reviewed by Sailhermom from Richmond, VA on Monday, December 23, 2019Bear canisters are heavy, But sometimes you just need one. This one fits in my pack easier than the clear one. It seals well. So well I used a permanent marker to indicate locked and unlocked positions of the pins. I put a washer on a string around my neck to open and close it. I may use the nylon carry bag kayak camping but not backpacking.

Package is as described and will be a welcome addition on are trip to Glacier this spring. As far as effectiveness goes, I hope I don't have to find out. I would definitely recommend this product.
