When you see the range of top-notch products offered by Badlands today, it’s hard to imagine this stalwart brand started out in 1992 with just a pair of old sewing machines in a 10x20’ storage unit. At the time, the founders of Badlands hunting gear poured every ounce of creative energy into making the best hunting packs possible. Within a year, they’d moved into an old furniture warehouse. By the turn of the century, Badlands hunting packs were being worn and praised by sportsmen across the country. Since then, the brand has diversified to include a dependable array of Badlands hunting apparel, including high-performance hunting jackets, pants and base layers. If you want products that are designed with care, thoroughly tested in real-world conditions and built to last, this is your brand.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fits the body nicely, lots of spaceReviewed by CJ from Ohio on Wednesday, February 10, 2021After trying it on and walking around the house with this pack, my first impression is overall satisfaction. This thing is _huge_ but doesn't look/feel that large when it is on the person. I looked in a mirror with it and it didn't stick up past the middle of my head and was able to rest nicely on my hips.
The issues I was looking to solve with this pack were that my last one would slide down off my shoulders and be very uncomfortable to carry. This one has a long chest strap to go with the two long shoulder straps. I had them pulled roughly half way down to get the hip straps over/on my belt line. There is an incredible amount of pack space/expanding space so I'll be able to take in as many layers as I need for my long walks to my stand(s).
If I remember, I'll come back to update this after the first few hunts of the season. I'm absolutely taking this shed hunting, however. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great packVerified Buyer Reviewed by Bobby from Chicago on Sunday, July 19, 2020Pack is great... front zipper gets caught up a bit on straps yet is negligible. I would recommend for the price

5.0 out of 5 stars. Badlands ClutchVerified Buyer Reviewed by Big Muleys from WA on Wednesday, March 18, 2020Haven't used it yet, This is my 3rd Badlands pack, had one for 15 years and wore it out sent it back to badlands and they replaced it for free with the 2200. Saw this one which is bigger than my current pack so thought I'd give it a go. Seems to have a lot of room and big enough to pack all my gear. We will see how it functions this fall.
