I am going to exchange the item for a smaller size.
My daughter ABSOLUTELY LOVES these!!!
The weight of the denim is nice. She loves the SUPER WIDE legs and she can't wait for cooler weather in Florida so she can wear these!!
The construction is nice and I would recommend this garment. However, I would size down. -

I (very petite) daughter wears a small top and this was so constricting, she just couldn't wear it.

The linen is soft and fabric is pigment dyed (I think) and is lighter in some areas - but she loves that!
The construction is nice.
I would recommend this product.
