My receipt says 5" but I know its a 9" length. Stretches nicely on hikes, love the length and easy waist.

The fabric is not flannel but cotton, with no flannel feeling whatsoever. The sizing is all wrong. I am an 8-10 and ordered a medium. The size is more like a small - very short sleeves and a short top. No wonder they ended up here. No one would buy these in a store.
