4.2 out of 5 stars.
For more than fifty years, Vasque boots have been helping hikers, backpackers, mountaineers and trail runners get off the beaten path and out into the wilderness. When company founder William D. Sweasy traveled to Europe in the 1960s and saw how recreational hiking was sweeping the continent, he knew it wouldn’t be long before the craze reached American soil. In the years since Sweasy created the Vasque footwear company, Vasque hiking boots and mountaineering boots have become synonymous with outdoor exploration. Whether your destination is a local trail or a craggy alpine summit, Vasque shoes and boots provide the support, all-terrain traction and top-quality construction that lasts for many miles of adventure. Ready to start exploring?

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoesReviewed by mouseman from Colorado on Monday, May 27, 2024I don't normally write reviews, but these are a great deal. Supportive and comfortable, although more on the narrow to regular width side. I have a high arch and these hikers feel great. I've worn hoka's forever and I honestly think the sole is better on the vasque. They are a little warm due to the waterproofing but, not overly hot to wear. It would be an ideal fall or winter shoe.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great but narrow. recommend sizing upReviewed by Y.W. from Arizona on Monday, May 6, 2024Great hiking boots. These are Gore-Tex boots with a grippy outsole and also provide ankle-support. My regular size is 6.5, but size 6.5 in these is too narrow for me. Finally, I got 7. If there's wide option available, you could try regular size with wide one first. Otherwise, size up at least half a size.

5.0 out of 5 stars. A steal at $80!Reviewed by Adam from Bloomfield, NY on Saturday, April 27, 2024This is one of those buys that keeps me coming back to Sierra. A fantastic boot at an incredible price. The looks of this boot are too notch. The build quality is too notch. Super comfy out of the box. Very sturdy sole. Seriously...a Gore-tex Vasque hiking boot for $80?? You can't beat it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great from StartReviewed by Danny from NY on Thursday, April 18, 2024Comfortable with almost no break in required. Cushion saves your feet when the trail is nasty rocks and roots with very good grip on the wet stuff. Very water resistant.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic Hiking BootReviewed by KLOJR from Colorado on Tuesday, April 16, 2024When I took these out of the box, I worried about how stiff they were. The first 3-4 times I wore them, there was definitely a hard spot on the top of my heel that was a bit painful and difficult to hike through. But then suddenly, before I realized it, they had broken in and are extremely comfortable, provide great support, and the tread is really grippy. I live at over 8,000 feet in Colorado and have been hiking in them on snow packed trails, through slush, and on mud. They are super duper water proof! I love these boots!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great hiking boots!Reviewed by SoCal hiker from California on Thursday, March 14, 2024These are great hiking boots at a fantastic price! Great ankle support and sturdy, yet flexible on the trail. These boots are narrow so they're perfect for narrow feet. If you don't have narrow feet, these probably will not work for you.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Very smallReviewed by Minnesota Riley from Minnesota on Sunday, February 18, 2024These are just what I wanted, and I am returning the ones I bought and trying again. I wear at 8 shoe and an 8.5 hiking boot but the 8.5 in this brand were very very small. Now trying to figure out if I need 9 or even 9.5. They're lightweight, they're everything I needed. But i need them to fit.

3.0 out of 5 stars. I really like this boot but one issue.Reviewed by Sweb from CA on Wednesday, February 14, 2024I really liked this boot vibram sole gortex heel was fine but
The laces put a strange tight preassure at the top of boot.
Just FYI. I think maybe a low volume foot may be good.
Also fairly narrow boot in D width. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Great in AppearanceReviewed by K8M_18ZW3 from worldwide on Friday, February 9, 2024A good looking lightweight boot. Unfortunately it was too short and narrow to work for me. I normally wear a 11W in US manufactured boots and a 12 - 13 in foreign made boots. The 12M was the only available boot and sadly it did not fit. Hopefully at some point in the future this boot will be available in a 13W.
