It has a sherpa fleece layer outside and a thick, almost wool-like smooth interior. I'm a 5 foot tall 100 lb woman and purchased this for myself in the size 14/16 and it has the perfect relaxed fit, just the right size so it's not tight but not too baggy either. Super happy with this purchase and will be wearing this all winter long!
