It technically is not within carry on specs but you can get away with it. Very easy to pack and a lot more durable than it looks. I like that I can stow the straps away, outside material is durable and you can pack a lot on here. Tall boots, lots of clothes, etc. The pack itself is also very light and does not feel bully. I know I'll be using this pack for a lot of traveling.
