4.0 out of 5 stars. So warm and practical!Reviewed by Kelly from PA on Thursday, March 6, 2025I really do love this coat. It is very warm and waterproof. It covers me up and the pockets are great. It is a little on the frumpy side for me, but I'd rather wear this than be cold in a different coat!

The seams are sealed with a glued fabric instead of just that clear glued seam of most rain jackets. The inner lining is also a fabric not like other jackets thin plastic that eventually starts peeling off. The Rossignol website says the waterproof designation is 45,000 and breathability 45,000. This is not lightweight but not a heavy goretex or rubber coat either. I think it feels twice as heavy as a very lightweight backpacking jacket, but those don't last very long! I bought the Large to layer over both backpacking and rain pants and sometimes also a base layer. I usually wear a medium (curvy hips on an athletic frame).
