The legendary Salomon outdoor equipment company was founded more than 60 years ago in the French Alps by Francois Salomon. After developing the world’s first self-releasing ski binging in 1966, the company continued to grow and innovate new products. By the early 1990s, the brand had taken the wintersports market by storm with Salomon skis made using cap construction, a totally new innovation at the time. Salmon boots quickly became famous for their balance of performance and comfort on the slopes. By the turn of the century, Salomon snowboards were helping athletes push themselves in the park and powder. Today, Salomon continues to be an industry leader, with products that range from skis and snowboards to hiking boots and trail running shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Buy theseReviewed by Indekat from Michigan on Saturday, July 20, 2024I’m surprised these are clearanced out. I purchased at a brick and mortar Sierra about a year ago. I love these! They are so comfortable and have enough space in the toe area you can still wiggle. Snug around the ankle, so you don’t get Sand in your shoes. The sole is slightly rounded so you kind of roll forward with each step - new to me but I like it. They look less bulky than most running shoes, which I like because they’re flattering for day to day wear

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love theseReviewed by Betty from NH on Tuesday, July 9, 2024I like them so much I have several styles and colors. Do your research on them 1st, they run half to a full size small. I purchased a half size and a full size both. The half size gives just enough room for thin socks. And a full size up gives any of room for heavier socks.
These fit like a glove. Super comfortable, I can walk miles in these with zero issues. Sole has good cushioning and the boot has excellent support in the ankle area as well a broader base which aids in better stability.
I even got a pair for a friend.
Definitely worth the money. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. lightweightReviewed by Frumious Falafel from Virginia on Saturday, July 6, 2024These are highly lightweight shoes which fit my 9.5 wide feet perfectly. Nice and bouncy on arrival. Should last a while. Interesting lacing system which I initially had my doubts about but which has surprisingly won me over. I had been worried about the lacing system staying taught. Well they stay taught just fine it turns out!
Because I'm used to wearing Hokas, I found the bottom soles to be a bit narrow (i.e. normal). Hokas are very wide and thus extremely stable. But so far I haven't flipped my foot out on either side. That is they seem stable enough.
Bottom line is that this is a good deal.
