Neither my wife or i used to wear a helmet. Earlier This summer my wife bought a smith engage in merlot/teal. She never mentioned buying it but I saw the helmet on the shelf and since she usually rides by herself i just assumed she was wearing it. Last week i was going for a ride alone. as i was loading up the wife suggested i wear her helmet for some peace of mind. She told me you will feel much safe riding with it on. As i was about to tell her no I decided to just wear it. With some minor adjustments i was able to get a great fit. During the ride It actually was very very light and comfortable very well vented and did not feel hot. When i got home after the ride my wife asked what I thought. i told her i liked it and would wear it again. She said she was a little surprised but said it would be nice if i had a helmet then we could both wear them. So here i am shopping
