5.0 out of 5 stars. My wife says you need a helmetReviewed by John caruso from West homestead on Sunday, December 10, 2023I ride my bike often with my wife. The kids are grown so its just the two of us. We don't wear helmets but just enjoy the ride. The wife has a helmet that she has not worn in several years but i never owned a helmet. While cleaning the garage last summer I found my wifes helmet and put it with the bike stuff. It sat there unmoved, through several rides, until a few weeks ago I noticed it hanging on her handlebars after she had been on a ride. Last week i suggested that we take a ride. Without missing a beat the wife commented that I really needed to get a helmet because it is not safe riding without one and she would not feel comfortable with me riding without one. I thought she was joking until she suggested I wear my sons old skate helmet (which she handed me) until i got one. Not wanting a fuss I decided to just wear it and off we went. Halfway through the ride i hit a big pile of wet leaves and went down thankfully not hitting my head. I spent the rest of the ride looking at everyone else's helmets, and listening to my wife saying “see”. As soon as i got home i went on line and bought a smith persist in green. i am happy with the way it fits and feels and My wife is super happy that i wear a helmet now.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Heads upReviewed by Jayna pyle from Texas on Friday, September 15, 2023Bike rides with my husband consist of casual trail journeys. We both wore helmets but got out of the habit during covid and foolishly got rid of our helmets. Recently we both commented about how we were routinely going over 25 mph and it would be nice to have a helmet. My husband suggested I find us suitable biking helmets. I found the smith persist and loved the style. I was unsure of the size for myself but knew my husband needed a large. So i bought a large in white. To my surprise it fit me well so i got large in spruce. We both love our helmets, comfortable, light well vented and fit in a manner where there was no pressure points. We hope to never test them out
