Truth be said i have a helmet and hatted it. I painted it black years ago and wore it for awhile and then quit the fit was horrible. I am not a fan of white helmets and it is rare to find black helmets. This spring my husband got a smith persist. I tried it on and really liked it and i like that i felt safe with it on. The store he got it at did not have black so I would not consider it. I was shocked when i found the persist in black At sierra and immediately bought it (i needed a small). I have worn it soooo much it honestly feels Great and is very lightweight i hope i never crash it but i feel super safe with it on
