I haven't worn Altra is years and I just don't care for this brand.
The foam on the soles feels cheap and won't last long. I have read other reviews on different sites that people have noted this as a CON. The crummy materials used and they didn't last or wear for long.
The mesh (once stretched out) will just make the shoe even bigger. There wasn't much give in the shoe and I have Plantar Fasciitis and this shoe just felt awful on my heels.
The tongue is notched weird and was not soft at all. It was pushing into my foot at the ankle.
Just an overall bad fit.
I normally wear an 8.5 in running shoes, but I had to order a whole size larger in this brand.
I am sure this brand works for a lot of people - just not for me. -

This model was recommended by someone with the same toe issue. The price was great, so I took a risk ordering online, and I am so glad I did! The rocker sole and wide toe box are just what I need!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Confusing sizingReviewed by MGC from Central Ore on Sunday, July 21, 2024Ordered a 9.5 and they’re a half size too small. Upon reordering I noticed that these are labeled “for women”. The box sizing has an M by the 9.5 so now I’m really confused.
What’s not confusing is how comfortable they are. Super duper light and a great “locked in” feel. They’d be a great race shoe as the tread is pretty thin.
