Toxic chemical exposureReviewed by Disappointed from Michigan on Thursday, July 25, 2024Wow, I was initially so excited to get this dog bed thinking if dogs liked it to buy two more. And on sale, one you couldn't beat. I was so disappointed when I got the bed as the Avalanche Co tag on the bed had a warning sign with explanation that use of this product can expose you or your pet to toxic chemicals. It does explain a particular chemical known to cause cancer as well as other health issues and can be inhaled, or dermal contact. So this was a NO GO! Too bad as otherwise this dog bed was great. Very disappointed Sierra did not mention this on the product specs. Maybe Sierra did not know. I would highly recommend consider other bedding for your dog and that Sierra look at this type of product and cease carrying on their site.

It fits nicely and isn’t too heavy or bulky - will be great to have on an upcoming trip to Europe. Looks a little nicer than most rain jackets, so can be worn as another layer in the evening.
