Most Helpful 3-Star Review

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice if you want your carhartts close fitting and warm

I figured I’d try these twill pants after reading rave reviews, but was disappointed. I wear 34x34 in all other Carhartt pants (with the classic dungaree fit), but found the “relaxed” fit of these much too close fitting for comfort while working. Maybe should have sized up at the waist? The twill is a nice soft but strong material but (as expected) feels thicker and therefore warmer than the typical duck. I washed and wore several times hoping they’d either relax or I would get used to them to no avail. In the end, they are kind of a strange hybrid of material, fit and features that don’t work for me, but might for others. I should have stuck with my old favorites!

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
