I purchased a 38. I usually wear an 8. ( I have learned in boots to size up half size to full size larger to accommodate sock thickness.) size 38 was too small for me even without a sock. I hated to return . I have a bunion and some arthritis in my feet. if you don't and you are sz. 7/7.5? this would probably fit you. It's the prettiest boot in the combat style that I've ever seen. classy simple, expensive looking. soft black leather, good hearty sole. a little narrow.
