The people behind Kamik boots and footwear have been dealing with extreme weather conditions for generations. Over the past century, this brand has put considerable effort into crafting footwear that can withstand the rigors of Canadian winters and also provide excellent support and comfort. From outsoles designed for reliable traction on slick, icy surfaces to insulated liners that offer warmth in the most frigid temperatures, Kamik snow boots and kids boots are simply among the best in the industry. When the snow melts and the ice thaws, Kamik sandals and sneakers provide the same great traction and support in a sporty, summer-ready package. Step outside with confidence.

3.0 out of 5 stars. update on previous reviewReviewed by Shirlg from Wisconsin on Sunday, December 29, 2024I finally had a chance to wear these outside to shovel a couple of inches of snow. Hate to report but after about 30 minutes in 20 degree weather , my feet were cold , even with thick wool socks on. Definitely not for their rated -40 !

3.0 out of 5 stars. Not for deep snowReviewed by Shirlg from Wisconsin on Friday, December 13, 2024Good for around town , but not for trekking through deep snow. The "tongue" is only attached to just above the ankle , not all the way to the top of the boot. I bought them for ice fishing and don't think they will be good unless we have under 4" of snow on the lake. I also purchased them one size larger which was good since one pair of wool socks made them snug on my feet. Not sure on the warmth of them yet since I haven't worn them for too long .

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good not perfect.Reviewed by León from BC on Thursday, October 24, 2024I got this model of Boots for Canadian Central coast winter while I'm traveling around. They claim to handle minus 32 degrees or so. The reality is -20 you can start feeling the cold in the insole even wearing a tick wool socks. I used them to split firewood, walking around with my kid in 15 inches of snow and they can handle it pretty good while you are in movement. They're not the most comfortable boot if you're planning to walk a lot. For a regular commuting distance they do the job. No leaks no snow inside and no cold on the sides. Just the insole after getting really cold can't hold it. My solution was buying an extra pair of isolated insole for ten bucks.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Hot Hot Hot!Reviewed by Mary Jane from WA on Friday, January 12, 2024These boots are great! Keep your feet toasty warm and are lightweight. They run a little bit smaller in length than the other Kamik boots I have worn but maybe since they are so insulated, lighter weight socks are needed. Much like all my other Kamik boots, they are so comfortable and I could use them as slippers.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Like Slippers!Reviewed by Mary Jane from WA on Friday, January 12, 2024I have had many pairs of Kamik Rain boots but these boots felt like slippers the moment I put them on. If you have wide feet or calves, these are not for you but otherwise; I will be wearing these even if the snow doesn't come

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent BootReviewed by Karin from Idaho on Wednesday, January 10, 2024Perfect size and very comfortable. Excellent quality. Very very warm.
Can only wear lightweight socks. Heavier socks will make the shoe feel tight. I bought a similar pair a size larger and while I can wear heavy socks with them, the boot does pooch out at the ankle, so I recommend buying your size and wearing lightweight socks. -

2.0 out of 5 stars. Thin soles, not terribly warmReviewed by Green Mtn Greg from Vermont on Friday, December 22, 2023I would not buy these again and do not recommend them except for very light, short-term wear. I wore these recently on a cold Vermont morning and found that they were not nearly as warm as claimed. My feet got just as cold as in the steel-toed Muck boots that I'd been wearing. Meanwhile, the soles are so thin and flexible that the bottom of my feet were bruised where I had walked on bumpy surfaces. Finally, I normally wear a 10, but got these in an 11 to accommodate an extra layer of socks. They are still a snug fit with just one pair of socks.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Super smallReviewed by Hello from Minnesota on Sunday, December 4, 2022I wear a 9.5 women’s shoe. I thought I’d take a chance on the men’s 9. It was so small it crunched my toes. Tried the 10 I had bought for my son, still too small and there were bumps along the side instep. Didn’t even bother with the 11 I bought for my husband. All will be returned.
