  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. My favorite daypack

This is a great summer sized pack and my go to. It's made for biking, but I love it for hiking. The bottom zipper section is supposed to be for tools but i keep my emergency bag, extra mylar blankets, snacks and such. There is another small zipper area perfect for I.D. cash & keys. Mesh outer pocket, two bottle side pocket and another sipper pocket. The main area holds the water bladder and room for pack lunch, rain jacket, and mid-layer. The only thing it's missing is a built in whistle ... this small pack is packed with features.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Daylite 13L is small, lite weight & well made

I'm not a big fan of larger packs for daily use so I love small ones that are made well, function as they should and are easy to store in smaller spaces. That is why I give this Daylite 5 stars. It holds all of my needs and has decent organization and water bottle pockets. It also compresses down to an extremely slim size when not carrying anything bulky so you can fit it is plenty of 'out of the way' spots in an office or work setting. I don't like having my pack visible to others so I really like this for security and privacy. The main area has no organization though so you want to put things in there that are a little larger (like a book or sweatshirt. If you carry lots of little items, I suggest tossing them in a small case and then putting the case into the main area of the Daylite. It won't work well if you over stuff the front pocket because the pack will get top heavy and sag then so use a smaller pouch or two if you need to and toss them in the main area. This works perfectly. The grab handle is solid & built into the shoulder harness so it looks really clean aesthetically and never sticks out or hits your neck (like some bags I own do). The hip strap (kind of useless) fortunately is removable so you can get rid of some 'dangling straps', and the back panel is outstanding for backs to breathe from less sweat. A+ all the way and as good a price as I've ever seen for this perfect little backpack.

Hey Osprey, if you are seeing this review, there is one thing I'd much rather have on the next version of this pack. I never take two water bottles with me and rarely seen anyone doing this so please change one of the water bottle holders into a zippered pocket instead so you have another quick access area. That would make an already great product even better.
