4.0 out of 5 stars. About these boots.Reviewed by Leoman1 from Beaverton, Oregon. on Monday, August 5, 2024I bought a pair of these boots with a different color pattern last year, and have worn them on several hikes now of varying length and difficulty. They were comfortable right away for me other then the top collar of the boot, which caused slight soreness from rubbing against my ankle area. That issue disappeared after the first hike, and the overall fit and comfort has been good, with pretty good sole grip, although I haven't hiked wet and slippery trails including rocks yet, so that remains to be seen regarding grip and slippage issues, as well as it's claims of being waterproof. My other issue on rockier and rough trails in the wild would be the lack of overall foot protection and reinforcement in the toe in particular, but I realized that issue when buying the boots. Overall though, they are a good basic hiking boot for most trails, with no serious gripes that would cause me to return them. Teva usually delivers on overall quality.
