Average Rating:
4.3 out of 5 stars.
Believe it or not, The North Face story didn’t begin on a high-altitude ascent. It actually began in San Francisco at less than 200 feet above sea level. However, what started as a neighborhood mountaineering shop has since evolved into an industry-leading, award-winning outdoor equipment and apparel brand. Since its inception more than 40 years ago, The North Face has grown to include clothing and gear designed for nearly every type of adventure, from alpine skiing to backpacking to trail running. Today, The North Face jackets and pants are chosen by world-class athletes, and The North Face rugged boots help carry explorers through the toughest terrain, from the icy slopes of Everest to Utah’s Green River basin.

2.0 out of 5 stars. A huge fail by the Northface, a company in declineReviewed by Johnny D from New England on Saturday, September 21, 2024So, with a storm headed to the northeast I got my tent just in time to test it out in bad weather. The bucket floor leaks around the seam and water is inside on the floor. This is VERY MUCH a "fair weather" tent. I am used to my Eureka Timberlite XL which is phenomenal but, at 60 i'm not inclined to get dressed on my knees anymore and needed a tent with more headroom. I thought this was a reasonably priced option at $225, I couldn't imagine paying the list price of $400. I'm looking at getting rid of THIS tent and maybe getting a large Eureka, since I've had such great luck with them. The northface is a company in decline as they are trying to maximize profit before the quality of their products. They USED to be a great company but between becoming woke and decreased quality of products, I'm now a former customer.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Decent for the moneyReviewed by Outside in Oregon from Palm Springs on Friday, September 20, 2024i would like a little more cushion and the laces are very thin so they twist up and can be troublesome to tie.
