3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice if you want your carhartts close fitting and warmReviewed by Adabhael from Out There on Monday, September 18, 2023I figured I’d try these twill pants after reading rave reviews, but was disappointed. I wear 34x34 in all other Carhartt pants (with the classic dungaree fit), but found the “relaxed” fit of these much too close fitting for comfort while working. Maybe should have sized up at the waist? The twill is a nice soft but strong material but (as expected) feels thicker and therefore warmer than the typical duck. I washed and wore several times hoping they’d either relax or I would get used to them to no avail. In the end, they are kind of a strange hybrid of material, fit and features that don’t work for me, but might for others. I should have stuck with my old favorites!
