Average Rating:

Keen shoes have been helping feet find adventure since 2003, and it all began with the signature KEEN.PROTECT toe bumper. It might seem strange to build a footwear company around a feature, but that iconic toe bumper is more than just a style add-on. It’s what allows Keen sandals to hit the trails and provide the best toe protection possible. In fact, Keen was one of the first footwear companies to make closed-toed hiking sandals. Over the years, the product selection has continued to grow and now includes Keen hiking boots, trail shoes, cycling shoes, socks, clothing and bags. The brand is also actively involved in land and water conservation projects in the US, Canada, Europe and Japan.

2.0 out of 5 stars. Don't waste your moneyReviewed by edwinholt from Illinois on Thursday, April 11, 2024I just purchased these shoes for a backpacking trip in the desert of Arizona. Only two days out with new shoes (yes, I know you should break them in before a major hike) and I noticed the sole separating from the shoes! It was getting so bad I had to stop the trip and make it to a Walmart to purchase some Shoe Goo just to hold the shoes together to make it back home.
I am hoping this is just a fluke in the manufacturing process and that this isn't representing the quality and workmanship of Keen as a company. I am concerned it's the latter, like most companies are heading to make more profit and not worrying about the quality of their products.
Yes, you can go through the process of writing an essay, making sure you kept the receipts, and kept good notes about your purchase, creating a Keen account and submitting this all on their warranty section of their site. But...for me...it's just easier to go to another company next time.
Leaving on a good note...the shoes were comfortable for the week that they were together and fit as expected. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Sizing is way offReviewed by ETS from Colorado on Sunday, April 7, 2024My son wears an 8t in all other keens. Had to order a 10t for them to fit.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Runs very smallReviewed by BKM from Maryland on Saturday, April 6, 2024I recently purchased a pair of boot and was eagerly anticipating trying them out. However, upon receiving them, I was met with disappointment. Despite ordering a size 8, which is typically a half size larger than my usual size 7.5, the shoes were still too small for me.
From the moment I slipped them on, it was evident that they were uncomfortably tight. Every step I took felt constricted, leaving me feeling restricted and uneasy. It was disheartening to realize that even after sizing up, the shoes failed to provide the comfort and fit I had hoped for.
As someone who values both style and functionality in footwear, this experience was particularly disappointing. Not only did I miss out on the excitement of trying out a new pair of shoes, but I also found myself facing the hassle of having to return them
