The legendary Salomon outdoor equipment company was founded more than 60 years ago in the French Alps by Francois Salomon. After developing the world’s first self-releasing ski binging in 1966, the company continued to grow and innovate new products. By the early 1990s, the brand had taken the wintersports market by storm with Salomon skis made using cap construction, a totally new innovation at the time. Salmon boots quickly became famous for their balance of performance and comfort on the slopes. By the turn of the century, Salomon snowboards were helping athletes push themselves in the park and powder. Today, Salomon continues to be an industry leader, with products that range from skis and snowboards to hiking boots and trail running shoes.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love them!Reviewed by Amg231 from Maine on Friday, October 18, 2024I don’t always like wearing boots while hiking so got these for days where I want something lighter on my feet. They have been perfect for me; I usually hike in the white mountains of NH and would not recommend wearing trail runners up mountains unless you are accustomed to hiking on highly technical trails. Usually I take a 10.5 in other Salomon models but was glad I went for an 11 in these.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good arch supportReviewed by Mary O. from Boise, ID on Monday, September 23, 2024Very comfortable with good enough arch support that I don’t have to wear my orthotics. Love the quick laces.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Best summer hiking shoesReviewed by Ton from Orlando on Monday, August 19, 2024These are so so comfortable, I definitely recommend it. The top is made of breathable fabric, you feel the breeze through your toes and your feet stays cool in the summer. Of course they are not ideal for wet conditions, but the for summer, it was amazing. I used them in Zion, Moab area parks, and Yellowstone.
