Average Rating:
4.1 out of 5 stars.
The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice bootsReviewed by scotscottscottt from Idaho on Saturday, September 7, 2024Right out of the box these look great, fit great in typical size, and they are comfortable to wear with almost no break-in needed. The leather is on the thinner side but it is very high quality, as is the stitching and all other elements of construction. In fact everything is on the thinner side including the outsole and midsole. This lightens the boot up significantly, which is great, but the tradeoff is that the leather and sole will likely not last as long, and the midsole does not provide as much comfort for hard wear or long miles. My usual comfort solution is to use high quality inserts, so I installed Superfeet Orange. Normal daily wear including 3 mile dog walks were very nice, but when I hiked 20 miles with a 40lb pack my feet were not happy. I won't be using them for that purpose again. That said, I weigh about 200lbs, so if you are a smaller person and/or lighter packer then these may be good for those longer hikes. Either way they are a very nice, very good-looking, quality made boot, and for the price here on Sierra they're a massive bargain. I'm seriously considering a second pair. Strongly Recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great for casual or a gunbeltReviewed by brainfat from Montgomery, AL on Saturday, February 3, 2024I bought this belt to secure my .380 gun holster and it's perfect. The belt is about 1 1/2 wide and about 1/8 inch thick. The finish is textured and the color is chocolate brown. Good quality for a low price. I usually wear a size 29 but bought the size S (30-32) to allow for the holster; usually you add 4 inches for a gun belt; here I only needed 3 inches extra. Thank you STP!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Wallet....butReviewed by Mark from Denver on Tuesday, January 9, 2024I bought this wallet about a year ago. I really like the slim design and it works well most of the time. My 2 issues are: 1. The leather on the clip quickly wears through. The metal clip is quite sharp once the leather has worn away. 2. The distance between the clip and the bottom of the wallet is ~1/4" too short. If you have business or credit cards in the clip, they hang out past the end of the wallet and get bent in your pocket.
