2.0 out of 5 stars. Don't waste your moneyReviewed by edwinholt from Illinois on Thursday, April 11, 2024I just purchased these shoes for a backpacking trip in the desert of Arizona. Only two days out with new shoes (yes, I know you should break them in before a major hike) and I noticed the sole separating from the shoes! It was getting so bad I had to stop the trip and make it to a Walmart to purchase some Shoe Goo just to hold the shoes together to make it back home.
I am hoping this is just a fluke in the manufacturing process and that this isn't representing the quality and workmanship of Keen as a company. I am concerned it's the latter, like most companies are heading to make more profit and not worrying about the quality of their products.
Yes, you can go through the process of writing an essay, making sure you kept the receipts, and kept good notes about your purchase, creating a Keen account and submitting this all on their warranty section of their site. But...for me...it's just easier to go to another company next time.
Leaving on a good note...the shoes were comfortable for the week that they were together and fit as expected.
